Following our regular format of Sitting practice, Mindful Movement and Body Scan, make the most of this beautiful venue to enjoy a quiet day of reflection.
Set in the perfect and tranquil ASHA centre, Gloucestershire, our retreat is for those who wish to deepen their Mindfulness practice. We run retreats throughout the year.
Whilst this retreat is aimed at Mindfulness students and those teaching or training in Mindfulness (MBSR/MBCT), anyone familiar with meditative practices is most welcome.

What happens on the day?
The practice programmes are teacher-led, presented by Lynsey and complimented by our Affiliate Teachers, who will expertly guide you through a beautiful day of Mindfulness.

Sitting practices
Mindful Walking
We always ask that you honour yourself and each other with quietness. There will be opportunities at the end of our retreats for discussion.

10.00 a.m. Welcome and introduction to team/day ahead
10:30 a.m. Begin practice
11:00 a.m. Break
11:15 a.m. Mindful movement (Hatha Yoga)
11.30 a.m. Mindful walking
12:30 p.m. Lunch time (please bring a packed lunch)
1:00 p.m. Rest and digest
1.30 p.m. Resume practices
3.00 p.m. Break
3:15 p.m. Dhama Talk
4:00 p.m. Finish

What will I need?
Warm, comfortable clothing.
Waterproofs are advised as we spend time mindful walking in the beautiful surroundings.
We invite you to bring a yoga mat, a blanket, or a cushion.
Whatever supports your practice and comfort.
Vegetable soup and bread rolls are available at lunchtime. But do feel free to bring your own packed lunch and snacks for the breaks (this is how we manage to keep our costs low).
Tea and non-caffeinated drinks are also available.
What is the cost?
Retreat days can be expensive to run, but we wish to keep our Buddhist ethos and not for profit approach for as long as we can. However, we do need to ensure we cover outgoing costs.Cost: Friends of Gloucestershire Mindfulness £38.00
