Mindfulness Meditation Training Courses

Mindfulness Meditation is all about being ‘in the present moment’ and becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations. It allows us to experience these thoughts and sensations without reacting to them in an instinctive and habitual way. This method trains the mind to respond to situations and problems differently.


We offer introductory sessions and workshops for both individuals and small groups, Mindfulness in the Workplace and 8-session MBSR (Mindfulness Based-Stress Reduction) courses.


Meditation - Sitting Practice

6th September weekly sessions

Riverside sports and leisure club, Gloucester

Formal Mindfulness Meditation space, sometimes known as “Sangha” and opportunity to take time to connect with your practice and meet with other likeminded students of Mindfulness.

29th July 8 week MBSR Mindfulness Training

2&6 Therapy Rooms, Gloucester

MBSR 8 week foundation training course studying the deeper aspects of Mindfulness and the health benefits that can be achieved through becoming aware of our automatic pilot and our reactions to the stresses of everyday life. The impact of this and learning about Neuroplasticity and brain function can be insightful. This course is suitable for those wanting to expand their personal awareness, take skills into their workplace or for use in schools as a pre training for PAWS or .B programmes.


Included in the course is, Comprehensive handbook, Meditation recordings, supervision and Certification.


Commitment to the 8 week course and Home Practice is essential throughout the course. in order to gain the best outcome for yourself. Booking application form is required.

10 places available. Course times 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Monday. Cost of course £195.00


7th August 8 week MBSR Mindfulness Training

Introduction to Mindfulness

This is a two and a half hour session of introduction to the type of meditation we teach in the 8-session mindfulness-based stress reduction course, otherwise known as MBSR.

8 week MBSR course

This is a certified eight week MBSR course. The training gives the opportunity to notice the way we can anchor into the breath and involves Breathing Practice, Sitting Practice, a short Body Scan and gentle Mindful Movement. We will also be teaching you about the origin of Mindfulness-based Health Interventions and the background of Mindfulness.

9 Attitudes provides the core values for the MBSR Course.

Cost includes comprehensive handbook, meditation recordings that specifically accompany the course and training support (the certificate requires all 8 sessions to be completed) Booking and pre consultation required please contact Lynsey for further details as places are limited to 10

The MBSR is considered the Foundation Course for the Teacher Training Pathway for those wanting to enter into private practice and as a pre-requisite for school teachers wanting to train in the “.b”  Mindfulness in Schools programme.

Mindfulness Practice Session

For those that have graduated from the 8 week course and are already using mindfulness in their daily lives. This is a wonderful opportunity to keep in touch with fellow students and enjoy growing new connections.

This is a donation session where participants give a donation at the end of the session.
